With beginnings as a UNC-Chapel Hill pick-up band, Mipso has since developed into a well-oiled Americana powerhouse, selling out national shows and developing a loyal fanbase. Over the past thirteen years, Mipso has synthesized folk with pop, polishing Appalachian music without taking the edges off. Each member of Mipso – Wood Robinson, Jacob Sharp, Joseph Terrell, and Libby Rodenbough – is an insouciantly stylish instrumentalist, making for an always dynamic listening experience.
