Rapsody (@rapsody) has gone from Snow Hill, NC, to widespread critical acclaim, and collaborated with talents the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Big Daddy Kane, and Raekwon. A five-time Grammy nominee, last month in LA she won music’s highest award for Best Melodic Rap Performance for “3:AM.” Starting her career at NC State as part of the crew Kooley High, Rapsody has since made an undeniable claim to hip-hop centrality, culminating with 2024’s PLEASE DON’T CRY, a diverse blend of straight-up rap and R&B-stylings.
