On this past Saturday night in Elizabeth City, the Moonshine & Motorsports Concert Series concluded with a resounding success. At the beautiful Museum of the Albermarle, Sheila Kay Adams (@nestofsingingbirds), Kruger Brothers (@krugerbrothers), and Jim Lauderdale (@jimlauderdale) brought down the house – their individual and collaborative performances of the old ballads, revamped bluegrass, and classic country hit audiences in the heart. The alternately emotional and raucous evening was a testament to the importance of North Carolinian music in bringing people into public gatherings where they can feel together the power of what makes our state great.
