Free Programs — Biscuits & Banjos Biscuits & Banjos is sold-out, but don’t fret (pun-intended) – all three days of the upcoming April 25-27 Durham festival are jammed packed with free events! For example, all performances on the Blackbird Stage are open to the general public, and will feature incredible artists such as Yasmin Williams, Dom Flemons, a telecast from the Carolina Chocolate Drops reunion from Rhiannon Giddens, Shirlette Ammons, New Dangerfield, Charly Lowry, Demeanor, Amythyst Kiah, Hubby Jenkins, and Pierce Freelon’s Black to the Future. This is in addition to the many free events provided by the NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, discussion groups, jams, banjo lessons, and more.
