Kerr County Officials locate the body of adult female swept away in July 4 flood, 2 still missing

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — The number of people missing following the July 4th floods in Kerr County is down to two.
Governor Greg Abbott says those still unaccounted for are a young girl who was at Camp Mystic in Hunt, and an adult male.
The adjusted number comes after searchers found the body of a missing adult female. Her body was recovered in the Kerrville area.
In the days following the deadly floods, the number of those missing had been as high as 161, but that number dropped to three last week when officials verified a majority of the reported missing were confirmed as safe.
Most of the people initially reported as missing were tourist who didn’t immediately check in with family members.
Once Kerr County officials adjust the numbers to include the woman found yesterday, the death toll will be at 108.
Meanwhile, officials in Travis County are reporting the recovery of 10 flood victims and there is still one person who is unaccounted for.
